Watch: Lunar by Christian Stangl

At the height of the Cold War in 1957, the US and Russia were at the end of their wits. Despite the intensity and maginitude of the war, we could never have imagined the nations duking it out in space, literally.

‘Lunar’ depicts the fascinating timeline of our advances in space. Through a slew of photographs, videos and audio clips, the short film imagines what could have been, had we been able to peacefully expand into the unknown.

Now ask yourself – why haven’t any advances been made ever since?
